Alchemy is known as the transmutation of matter—most famously, the turning of base metals into gold. Inner alchemy is the transformation of our own “base” aspects—our ego, our emotional states, and our consciousness—into a refined state of wholeness. In this sacred turning, what once felt heavy and immovable begins to soften, revealing the hidden light within.
